This year since T. Isn’t living with us, I am not sure how to handle holidays. It feels empty. I tried my best to keep T. from feeling as though he were going to miss out on anything so I engaged us in several events. Locally a farm held an Horse and Halloween event. T. played games, ate treats, and fed the horses. It was a fun day.
We had our samhain feast with a new member of our family. Daisy. She is an adorable Pomchi. She was instantly accepted as lap warmer.
We watched halloween shows/movies. Ate delicious carmel apples from the best candy store. The chocolatier custom made each one.
Before T. returned we played bobbing for apples. It was a fun night.

This fall a long time member of the CedarRapidsArea Fiber Artist Guild, Elsie Harris opened her home as a lovely art gallery. This woman is incredibly resilient, creative, brave, and kind. I was fortunate enough to be invited to her opening. As a group from the PaneraBread craft gathering, we all traveled over. I took so many great pictures. Enjoy the tour.
